Well, ahem… let me gather my thoughts on this oft slippery subject. Okay, first and foremost, my wife and I have used and appreciated this product and the comfort it provides for years and years. We have stuck with the original though there are many new iterations available. Unfortunately, it seems to be a case of “out with the old and in with the new” (on the sly), in a manner of speaking. As far as the “ins and outs” go, this clandestinely “new” formulation is noticeably more liquidic, ending up in more unnecessary and wasteful places than before. It also seems to lose its viscosity as things progress and “interrupting the goings on” to add additional product is ineffective and mood dampening as well. We always maintained a certain “excitement” while driving this point home but now…not so much. Remember the old limerick about the “couple named Kelly”??? Well, this formulation is about as bad as “library paste” or “petroleum jelly”.Other manufacturers products have never really “filled the bill” for us so now we’re “stuck” (so to speak) in that netherworld of “to do or not to do”…Hopefully, the amount of overblown, less than positive reviews (what with their length and breadth) will coerce the manufacture into returning to the “glory days of yesteryear”. Who knows, perhaps “sticking with it” will slide right out of the vernacular and “in it for the long run” will, once again, become the norm.

Manages to be gel without being like, icky sticky, still smooth and slicky. Never had to reapply in a single session, always just a lil splat of it gets the job done. Normally prefer pump bottles but honestly because it IS gel the flip top hasn’t proved too problematic, product stays where it should so it doesn’t come out of the bottle at an unreasonable pace nor spread all over your hands after dispensing, so no issue with the getting it all over the bottle/cap when closing, and no need to reapply so really works out just fine. Probably not suitable for a pump bottle unless it had a wide dispenser.

Yeah so I’d never bought lube before. But when the Astroglide Twitter account started interacting with the Our Flag Means Death fandom, I wanted to support them back, so I bought this.Through all the conversation online I learned a lot of the meds I’m on for a chronic health condition are actually what causes me dryness (not like, personal hangups, as I previously believed). I never considered lube not only due to this lack of awareness, but also because I have a lot of skin sensitivities to common ingredients in skincare products/makeup/etc. (I even react to a lot of sensitive skin formulas) but surprisingly, this formula is safe for my skin. It also works well!So yeah. I guess I’ll be buying lube for the rest of my life now. And it’ll be Astroglide 💜

Astroglide Gel is a personal lubricant that I highly recommend. It stays put with no drip, providing long-lasting pleasure. The water-based formula is condom compatible and manufactured in the USA. It’s an excellent product at a reasonable price point. Don’t hesitate to try it!

I’m excited to share my positive experience using Astroglide Gel for intimate moments with my partner. The slightly thicker texture of this formula has certainly enhanced our experiences, especially in the shower.Astroglide Gel’s thicker consistency has been a pleasant surprise, providing a unique level of comfort and satisfaction during our intimate moments. While I’ve noticed that it can become a bit sticky after extended use, the positive aspects far outweigh this minor inconvenience. One of the standout features of this gel is its performance in the shower. The increased thickness allows it to stay in place and maintain its lubricating properties, even in a wet environment. This has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us, adding an element of excitement and spontaneity to our intimate encounters.Astroglide Gel’s slightly thicker formula is a welcome innovation that has positively impacted our intimate experiences. While the stickiness is a minor drawback, its ability to excel in the shower and provide enhanced comfort and satisfaction more than makes up for it. This product has certainly added a new level of intimacy and excitement to our relationship, making it a fantastic addition to our bedroom repertoire.

I recently tried Astroglide Gel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the no-drip formula is a remarkable feature. Unlike other lubricants I’ve used in the past, Astroglide Gel stays exactly where you want it, eliminating any mess or inconvenience. Its water-based composition provides a silky, natural feel that enhances intimacy without leaving a sticky residue. One of the standout qualities of this lubricant is its long-lasting effect. It truly lives up to its promise of delivering extended pleasure. Whether I’m engaging in prolonged sessions or quick encounters, Astroglide Gel ensures a consistently smooth glide and reduces any discomfort or friction.Another advantage is its compatibility with condoms. Being condom-compatible is crucial for safe and protected intimacy, and this lubricant works seamlessly with all types of condoms, providing an added layer of convenience and peace of mind.In conclusion, Astroglide Gel Personal Lubricant has become an essential part of my intimate moments. Its no-drip formula, long-lasting performance, and condom and silicon based toy compatibility make it a top choice for anyone looking for something a little less messy. I highly recommend giving it a try.

For a water based lube, it has decent staying power (especially considering the ultra reasonable price point). There’s no smell, and the taste is just a very mild fake-sugar/Splenda type flavor… It’s VERY runny and messy (but it’s MEANT to be; if you want otherwise, go with the gel version). I generally prefer silicone lubes for penetrative sex (they’re better for women’s Ph levels than water-based, last WAY longer, and – with Astroglide X – are compatible with Skyn and other polysoprene (spelling?) condoms), but prefer water based for hand and oral combos and foreplay. My only complaint is that the overwhelming majority of water based lubes on the market are compatible with Skyn/polysoprene condoms — so why not Astroglide???. Secondly, Astroglide’s packaging & online marketing is downright MISLEADING on this point (saying “compatible with condoms” — it’s not until you read the smaller print, or the brand literature, that you become aware of its inexplicable incompatibility, when compared with the rest of the water based market). With Skyn’s popularity (and frankly, its superiority in feel/fit AND efficacy/safety), and with Astroglide being one of the heavy hitters in the lube game, it just doesn’t make sense to me why this would be the case? I unknowingly used both this and the water based gel lubes with Skyn DOZENS of times this past month, and THANKFULLY did not encounter any breakage or issues. With this and the gel being so reasonably priced, and of such consistent quality, I’m definitely disappointed not to be able to use them anymore; because if I have to choose between giving up Skyn (the creme de la creme game changer of condoms), or Astroglide (the decent lube at a fair price, but not especially unqiue) – it’s the Astroglide that winds up in the bin, unfortunately.

No scent and flavorless : great ! Easy tube dispensers . Provides long lasting slippy lubrication . Washes out in soap and water . I do however provide a protective layer over my bed as precaution to good sheets . Nice product I’ve used for years .

By far one of my favorite lubes. I’ve tried a few brands and astroglide is by far our favorite. I personally prefer the gel because it’s less messy and works so well. I’ve tried some brands that are so sticky and last like 30 seconds. I will say, if the product is not warmed it does tend to feel sticky but once it’s warmed by your body heat, the fun definitely begins0
