Here’s what the venue has to say about “Judy Blue Eyes”:

“Judy Collins has inspired the world with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism since the 1960s. For more than five decades her art has evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united for social and environmental justice. Today we bask in the glow of her iconic, 50-album body of work, and draw inspiration from the spiritual discipline that has enabled her to thrive in the music industry for half a century.

“Collins is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. She has garnered several top-ten hits and gold- and platinum-selling albums. Recently, Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Dolly Parton and Joan Baez honored Collins’ legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.”

Caffe Lena is located upstairs at 47 Phila St. in Saratoga Springs.
