Dunkin’ has extended its “Free Donut Fridays” through April.
Members of Dunkin’s rewards program can get a free donut with the purchase of a beverage every Friday in April.
The rewards program is free. To enroll use the Dunkin’ app or go to ddperks.com. Once you earn 200 points you can receive a free beverage. You get five points for every dollar you spend.
During the pandemic, Dunkin has taken other actions to help communities including special programs for first responders, providing free coffee and donut holes to healthcare workers and sending ground coffee, K-Cups and gift cards to hospitals across the country.
The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation provided $1.25 million in emergency grants for health and hunger relief organizations working on coronavirus relief. “These grants will focus primarily on hunger relief efforts, including emergency food boxes and meal kits for families and children, backpacks for children displaced from school, as well as funding for food and water for families in shelters.”
- Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts, too.
- Lizzo provided a free lunch to hospital workers in Pa.
